Description

Incarceration has reached epidemic proportions in this country. Most individuals who are incarcerated are men; most of those men are fathers.

This workshop will provide an overview of this topic from multiple perspectives, including first person narratives from those with lived experience, direct practice examples, and community strategies and policy efforts. Participants will be guided to consider opportunities to develop or adapt policies and practices within their agencies to better support families where fathers are or have been incarcerated.

This is the third training for Year 6 of the Alameda County Fathers Corps

A complimentary lunch will be provided.
